VISION
Shri Pragya Mahavidyalaya, a Jain institution of higher learning which draws its inspiration from Pragya Pravar Shri Panna Lal Ji Ma.Sa., envisions the formation of the whole person. We, at Pragya, seek to form young men and women who are committed to the establishment of a just and caring social order. The college envisions that a better society can be created by people who are not only competent and compassionate but on the whole people of integrity and character. We believe that by promoting the intellectual, emotional, and moral growth of the student we can create men and women who are committed to and confident in promoting a humane world.
MISSION
Though Shri Pragya Mahavidyalaya is administered by Shri Pragya Jain Smarak Samiti, its mission reaches out to all without any distinction of caste or creed. Rooted in tradition and resistant to any radical change in the existing socio-cultural structures, we aim at working towards the transformation of the society so as to bring about enlightenment by means of higher education.
In keeping with the vision of the college, we promote entering into a constant state of dialogue with the local culture in order to bring about social and cultural liberation. As an institution of higher education, our motto is to provide a suitable environment and training to the students so that they are prepared for a life that is committed to the promotion of a just society.
